Kids Classes
Summer 2024 Class Registration opens April 30th.
Mountain Air Dance is proud to offer classes for kids of all ages that will enhance their creativity, challenge their mind and body and help them build confidence, strength and flexibility.
We pride ourselves on excellence, safety and fun!
Summer Classes are a la carte. You may choose individual classes to attend June 10th-Aug 22, 2024. Instructor permission is required for all classes above Intro-Level 1. Those classes must be paid for at each class or online during the registration process.
School Year Classes meet (Sept-May) and will culminate in a performance at our Student Showcase in May. It is not required for students to participate, but highly encouraged. They may still attend classes and learn the choreography without being in the performance. Performance builds confidence and helps bring out the artistry we work all year to achieve :)
Once enrolled in a school-year class; you will receive a monthly statement on the 1st of each month for Tuition Fees. Those are calculated by the number of minutes each class meets in that month. You may log in to your account to pay with a credit card or bring cash or check to class each month. Please contact us at info@mountainairdance.org to end your enrollment.
To enroll in classes use the Registration Portal to create an account and then add your child. Once your child is in our system, you may register for classes. There is a one time fee of $15 to complete the account creation. Please contact us with any questions.
We raise funds all year long to support our Tuition Assistance Program to include as many people as we can in our classes and camps. If your financial situation is keeping you from attending a class; please reach out and apply today!
Intro-Level 1 Aerial Arts
Learn to fly in these amazing classes! Students will explore dancing off the ground and learn aerial safety while building strength & flexibility in a supportive, fun environment.
Ages 5-9yrs
Saturdays, 12:30-1:30pm. (2023-2024 School Year)

Session 1: Aerial Hammock, 9/9-10/14
Session 2: Aerial Hoop (Lyra), 10/28-12/16
Session 3: Aerial Silks & Hammock, 1/13-3/2
Session 4: Low-Flying Trapeze, 3/23-5/11
Tuition Rate = $25 (60 mins)
*This class does not perform in the Student Showcase on 5/18, but will have in studio mini-performances on the last class day of each session.
Students in this class are encouraged to take all 4 sessions to build their skills and strength to progress into the next level for Summer/Fall 2024.
Level 1-2 Kids' Aerial Arts
These classes are perfect for those who have some aerial experience. We will explore a variety of aerial apparatus in these semester long series.
Students will be broken into small class groups to allow instructors to help each dancer build their skills.
Ages 6-9yrs
Fridays, 4:10-5:20pm (2023-2024 School Year)

These classes meet 9/8-5/15, culminating in our Student Showcase on 5/18.
Level 2-3 Kids' Aerial Arts
This class is open to students who have passed our skills test and have intermediate aerial experience. We will explore a variety of aerial apparatus in these semester-long series.
Students will work toward more complicated sequences and more challenging skills while building endurance and artistry in the air.
Ages 8-10yrs
Thursdays, 4-5:30pm (2023-2024 School Year)
at The Emerson Center studio, upstairs in the Weaver Room.

Ages 11-13yrs

Tuition Rate = $32 (90 mins)
These classes meet 9/12-5/15, culminating in our Student Showcase on 5/18.
Level 3-4 Kids' Aerial Arts
This class is open to students who have passed our skills test and have extensive aerial experience.
Students will build their skills on all apparatus, improve flexibility and be challenged to dance from stage to sky!
Tuesdays & Thursdays
5:40-7:10pm (2023-2024 School Year)
at The Emerson Center studio, upstairs in the Weaver Room.
Tuition Rate = $32 (90 mins)
These classes meet 9/12-5/15, culminating in our Student Showcase on 5/18.
